St Helens in Englandnis the home of Pilkington the first manufacturer of modern glass. This intensive process has for many years had waste hot water poured into the local canal. This is called The Hotties and we hope to see what lurks within.
We are hoping to explore the canals in St Helens which have had hit water poured into them from the glass manufacturing plants for over 100 years. Local tales of exotic fish are rife and the local angling club has pulled many a bizarre fish from the warm but rank waters.
